Climate Change

The global food system accounts for an estimated one third of global greenhouse gases, up to 86% of which stems from agricultural production.

As a food company, we have a responsibility and opportunity to tackle climate change within our supply chain, in collaboration with industry peers, and at home in our Berkeley office.

We Design Better Food

In 2017, we conducted our second life cycle assessment of our products, which revealed that the majority of our carbon emissions come from our supply chain. We strive to design more sustainable food from “Farm to Yum” by working with ingredients, manufacturing, and packaging partners that prioritize environmental and social responsibility.
